Gzy Ex Silesia – Edinburgh Based Tattoo Artist
Hello, I'm Geezy a.k.a. Gzy Ex Silesia. I'm a tattoo artist in Edinburgh with a few years experience. Working at a professional studio, I provide my clients with the best service possible.
Throughout my career, I have worked in different tattoo studios in the UK and across Europe, where I often guested. I have also attended many Tattoo Conventions internationally, both as a tattoo artist and as a visitor.
I am fascinated by the Craft of Tattooing and its original cultures, such as: Black and Grey, Old School, New School, Traditional, Traditional Japanese, Black Work, Abstract, Graphic, Watercolour, Illustrative, Linework, Dot work, Geometric, Trash, and many more. Designing Process is where I spend most of my time, where I consider techniques, subject matter, and cultural factors. Although I prefer dark surrealism in abstract form, I am also not afraid of more positive and simple subjects like flowers or cute animals.
I want to take tattooing to a whole new level by designing it in a way that draws inspiration from many different art forms and styles, resulting in a distinctive and original contemporary artwork. My favorite techniques include graphic design, illustration, woodwork engraving, and graffiti sketching.
When I’m not tattooing I always try to keep myself busy with other artistic activities.
Illustration, Graphic Design, Printmaking, Painting or Pyrography are only a few to mention.
At the moment You can find me at Absolute Body Art in Edinburgh, UK.

It's not just about getting tattooed anymore; it's about getting tattoos that make you stand out.
I CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!
I design every tattoo individually for every client.
NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!
Hi, I'm Geezy (Gzy Ex Silesia) and I'm currently living in Edinburgh. My daily activities include tattooing, graphic design, illustrations, and occasionally painting. I have been tattooing since 2010, although I became interested in this topic earlier. Over the last 20 years, I have been involved in creative activities and professional practice.
Let me introduce you to my two tattoo personalities.
- In one sense, you can recognize my work based on my desire to express myself. The aesthetic of these tattoos is a reflection of my own self-expression desire, as well as a mix of styles relevant to tattoo art, as well as other forms of art with which I am familiar. I have a thorough understanding of composition and other technical elements, which allows me to take the finished product to a whole new level. My original tattoo designs blend surrealism, graphic design, abstraction, and avant-garde elements. In this way, you will make yourself stand out from the crowd even more.
- My other side is passionate about tattoo culture itself. It encompasses the knowledge of styles not only in terms of aesthetics, but also in terms of ethnicity and technicality. By understanding the basics and pioneers' work in a given field, I can make a tattoo more authentic. This guarantees the preservation of custom tattoo rules. It is imperative to note, however, that not every type of manufactured work fits into the custom principle. As a result of the above-mentioned knowledge and experience, I am in a position to guarantee it in my case.
My life does not change much after work. I continue to work with art. I am constantly expanding my theoretical knowledge and practical application by studying the works of other artists and other creative possibilities. I am an art connoisseur, and I collect art albums that include: graphic design, illustration, painting, graffiti, tattoos, and sketchbooks of a wide range of artists. However, my passion is much more than that. Currently, I own a large collection of T-shirts with designs created by representatives of the above-mentioned fields. I recommend that anyone interested in art owns a collection to support other artists. As a designer myself, sales encourage not only making money through artistic work. Additionally, it stimulates the creation of new and unusual designs. Since I have this craving for art, I regularly attend cultural events where I can commune with it. This cultivates my sensitivity to the visual world.
Throughout my work, you can see that I am capable of creating an individual project for you as well as adapting to your requirements.
Would I consider myself an artist? I'll let you decide.
